As part of Geography Awareness Week, we invite you to join a Mapathon, organized in partnership with the University of Würzburg, and supported by GeoDACH and AfNEG—the German-speaking and French-speaking associations of geography students.

During this event, participants will contribute to a Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) mapping task focused on improving healthcare access in Indonesia. By helping to map underserved regions, you’ll directly support humanitarian organizations working to improve lives on the ground.

No prior mapping experience is required, just bring your laptop and mouse, and we’ll provide training, snacks, and drinks. Whether you’re a seasoned mapper or completely new to open geospatial work, this is a great opportunity to learn, connect, and make a tangible impact through geography.
