Climate mitigation and protection against heat have many facets. The exhibition “The Aesthetics of Climate Adaptation” aims to present urban measures for adapting to the consequences of climate change with a focus on Heidelberg’s Bahnstadt district. The exhibition images show the results of a pilot project in which the Pfaffengrunder Terrasse and Spitze Eck were flown over using a thermal drone in the summer of 2024. The exhibition focuses on the successful implementation of climate adaptation measures and the positive impact of urban green spaces.
Organizer is the Bahnstadtverein, with the support of the Umweltamt Heidelberg and in cooperation with HeiGIT and the University of Heidelberg in the context of the HEAL project.
Admission to the exhibition is free.
