Head of administration (f/m/d)

We are looking for a Head of administration with power of attorney (f/m/d) located in Heidelberg, permanent, full-time or part-time (at least 75%) at the earliest possible date.
Postdoctoral Fellowship (6 – 12 months)
You are a highly motivated researcher who loves spatial data science and open geodata? You want to use your expertise for the benefit of society and the environment – in particular stimulating Climate Action or enhancing Humanitarian Aid related to Climate Resilience? You want to improve the availability and quality of open geographic information for Climate Mitigation and Adaptation and develop high resolution spatial indicators or GIScience methods for open, non-profit applications in those areas? Then we actually might have a suitable and interesting opportunity for you!
IT Systems Engineer (m/w/d, up zu 100%)
Are you interested in automatization, monitoring and developing new IT infrastructure? Do you like open source software and want to work together with developers and researchers to improve their geo-spatial software from an operations perspective? And everything for the benefit of society and environment! We need your expertise to professionalize and strengthen our IT services and server infrastructure.
HeiGIT gGmbH is a research-oriented, non-profit company that aims to improve the transformation of knowledge and technology from basic geoinformatics research into practical applications. HeiGIT fosters an open source, open data and open science strategy.
Front-End Developer (m/f/d, up to 100%)
HeiGIT gGmbH is a non-profit company aiming at technology transfer and applied research in the area of geoinformatics for the benefit of society and the environment. To this end, we are looking for a motivated and experienced Front-End Developer to help create attractive front- end solutions for our products. Your focus of work will be within HeiGIT’s climate action projects, but collaboration and exchange with other groups and topics like humanitarian aid will also be part of it. If you want a challenge in highly relevant research and development projects HeiGIT is the place for you, as the result of your work will have a direct impact on how the climate action platform will be served to our partners and customers.
Student Assistant (m/f/d) to Support the Deep Learning Data/Model Preparations
Our team is currently looking for:
Student Assistant (m/f/d) to Support the Deep Learning Data/Model Preparations
Your tasks will mainly be situated in supporting the design and development of deep learning systems. Tasks would include data preparation for computer vision tasks, Model transformation to relevant formats for geospatial application on supported platforms (QGIS/ONNX). The language is German or English.
Student Assistant (m/f/d) to Support the Big Spatial Data Analytics Teams
Our team is currently looking for:
Student Assistant (m/f/d) to Support the Big Spatial Data Analytics Teams
Your tasks will mainly be situated in the software development and the analysis of geoinformation (e.g. OSM). Moreover, software development with Webframeworks (Angular), REST APIs (LoopBack), the work with geo-databases or the analysis of OSM data will be part of your work. The language will mostly be English, in exceptional cases German.
Student Assistant (m/f/d) for Outreach and Communications
We are looking for a student assistant for Outreach and Communications. Your tasks will mostly be content creation for our blogs, events, and social media.
Other PR-related tasks may also be part of your job.
Student Assistant (m/f/d) for Communication Tasks
Your tasks will be to support the openrouteservice team in communication tasks with our users. Your Tasks will mostly be email communication and answering inquiries in our community forum. Depending on your interests and the amount of time also technical development of software will be part of the task.
Student Assistant (m/f/d) for Assistance with the Development of Websites and Web Map Applications
Your tasks will be to support the openrouteservice team in the further development of our website (openrouteservice.org) and our web client (maps.openrouteservice.org).
