This HGG lecture is given by students from the Institute of Geography at Heidelberg University who participated in the Vietnam excursion.

HeiGIT will participating in this year’s AGILE conference in Dresden, Germany, with multiple sessions, presentations and a workshop.

The Climate Action Navigator is a new dashboard by HeiGIT that displays high-resolution spatial indicators related to climate action.

The third HGG lecture is about the function of glaciers as early warning systems for climate change and how this has changed over the years.

Our next mapathon will take place on June 3, 2025 at 6.30 PM in the Hörsaal of the Geography institute in the Berliner Straße 48.

HeiGIT will be participating at this years QGIS User Conference from 2nd to 3rd of June 2025 in Norrköping, Sweden. The conference includes a variety of presentations, workshops, and discussions on a wide range of QGIS topics.

The second HGG lecture of this semester answers the question of why tree borders exist and how climate change influences them.
