At the 30th International Conference on Urban Planning and Regional Development
in the Information Society (REAL CORP 2025), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kirsten Von Elverfeldt, working in HeiGIT’s Climate Action Team, will present a paper on hiWALK and hiBIKE, co-created assessment tools to foster active mobility for all.
HeiGIT will be attending this year’s Urban Greenhouse Gas Conference and Stakeholder Summit in Geneva. Dr. Sebastián Block will present his research on scalable, high-resolution bottom-up GHG emission inventories using open data.
Climate mitigation and protection against heat have many facets. The exhibition “The Aesthetics of Climate Adaptation” aims to present urban measures for adapting to the consequences of climate change with a focus on Heidelberg's Bahnstadt district.
